Are you brand new to Azure, and are not sure where to start? If so, this session is for you. I will assume the attendees have no prior exposure to Azure, and I'll start at the very beginning - how to create an Azure account, how to create databases and manage them (either with the Azure tools or your local copy of Management Studio), and then how to access Azure databases using SSRS or even .NET applications. This session won't make you an expert, but will make you feel more comfortable about Windows Azure SQL Databases, and make you ready to take the next step forward.
You will learn:
- The limitations and restrictions on Azure SQL Database
- How to access Azure SQL Databases in SSRS and other tools
- The different configuration options when building an Azure account and an Azure database
