The latest round of licensing increases has made us examine the use of Enterprise Edition SQL Server closer than ever! Many shops have been using Enterprise Edition for years without ever using any Enterprise Level Features. In this session we will discuss different SQL Server Enterprise level features, how you would use them, and why you should be using them. AlwaysOn, Online Index Rebuilds, Compression, Encryption, Resource Governor, and more! There are things to consider such as hardware and software support, as well as some built in gotcha's that everyone should know!

• Always On Availability Groups and how they can be utilized at an Enterprise level
• Online Index Rebuilds, Parallel DBCC CheckDB Scans, and Parallel Index rebuilds and how they reduce downtime and maintenance windows.
