Jen Stirrup is a SQL Server MVP with a Bachelors degree in Psychology and two Masters in Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Science. Jen is Joint Owner of Copper Blue Consulting, delivering data and Business Intelligence solutions to global clients. Jen's focus is on the Microsoft BI stack, with a specific passion for Data Visualization. Jen is a veteran SQL Server Developer with 15 years SQL experience in delivering end-to-end Business Intelligence solutions. Jen blogs for SQLServerPedia as well as her own blog. She is has presented in many SQL Server User Groups in the UK. Jen is a TechEd NA and TechEd Europe presenter who is also active in the SQL Server community in the UK, Europe and in the US. In the past year, Jen has presented on these topics in Ireland, the UK, Sweden, Belgium, Portugal, and Poland. She has also held webinars on behalf on Microsoft TechNet and for the Business Intelligence and Performance Virtual Chapters of the Professional Association of SQL Server (SQLPASS). Additionally, Jen holds a Europe-wide volunteer role in helping to coordinate 'Women in Technology' events as a SQLPass volunteer, which covers WIT events in disparate countries from Sweden to Poland. Jen is passionate about using technology to help people obtain the most benefit from their investment in the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack, believing that data can help to drive enterprises forward.
